FORT WAYNE – Marcus Craig, Jr., age 16, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, in Fort Wayne. He was born on July 19, 2007, in Fort Wayne, to Nicole (Jose) Lozano and Marcus (Nikki Williams) Craig, Sr., all of Fort Wayne.
Marcus is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Josephine Vironet, and his paternal grandmother, Hattie Bell Craig.
In addition to his parents, Marcus is survived by his brother, Marcus Davis; and his sisters, Divinity, Anastasia, Cierra, Makenzie, and Peyton Craig, Shakira Williams, and Dejiah Hawkins; his maternal grandfather, Robert Vironet, Sr; his paternal grandfather, Robert Bennett, Sr.; his aunts, Monque Haywood, Sahira Hairston, and Ida Smith; his uncles, Robert Vironet, Jr., Robert Bennett, Jr., Richard, Pierre, Albert and Clifton Craig, Tyrone and Raymond Bennett; his 5 nephews, and a host of other extended family and friends.
Marcus was a junior at South Side High School in Fort Wayne. When outside he enjoyed playing football and basketball. When inside, you would find him playing his favorite video games. He was a jokester and made it a point to get on everyone’s nerves. He will be remembered for his big heart and was loved by all who knew him.
Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.
