Victor W. Clark Jr.
1951 - 2022
AUBURN, IN - Victor Welling Clark, Jr. age 71, of Auburn, passed away after a brief illness on December 27, 2022.
He was born on July 6, 1951, to the late Victor and Betty Clark, Sr. (Shanks) of Coolville, Ohio. Vic was a 1969 graduate of Federal Hocking High School and at the age of 18 moved to Columbus, Ohio to begin working at Quality Park Products. On March 1, 1986, he married Kristin Reed. In 1991 he moved with his family and became plant manager at Wolf Envelope in Angola, Indiana where he later retired in 2016.
He was an avid golfer and hunter. He and Kris shared a love of animals and fishing. Together they often competed in bass tournaments (catch and release only).
In his retirement he loved his part time job at Garrett County Club and Lake James Golf Course in Angola. He enjoyed his golfing buddies and all the free golf he could manage.
Vic will be remembered for his great sense of humor, kindness to others, and his love of The Ohio State Buckeyes. Vic also never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kristin Clark of Auburn, Indiana; son Matt Kastely; grandchildren, Olivia and Alex Kastely, and brother, Fred Clark.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Clark.
A celebration of Vic’s life for family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dekalb Humane Society, 5730 County Rd 11A, Auburn, Indiana 46706, in honor of Vic.
