JONESBORO, IN – Pamela K. Niesen, age 70, of Jonesboro, IN, died Monday, August 14, 2023. She was born on September 5, 1952, in Marion, IN to the late Robert and Dorothy Clanin (VanOsdol). Pam worked as a secretary for the Twin City Bible Baptist Church in Marion, IN for the past 3 years. She was also a professional clown with The Smile Seekers, bringing joy and cheer to children throughout the area. Pam was very active in children’s ministries and activities through the church and touched the lives of so many. She will be remembered for her joyful presence, devotion to the church and community, and the kind and loving ways that she brought people to the word of God.

Pam leaves behind her children, Sarah Jo DeLong of Gas City, IN and Joe (Laura) Niesen of Newport, ME; her brother, Lewis (Karen) Clanin, and grandchildren, Brianna Delong, Nathan Niesen, Silas Delong, and Hunter Niesen. In addition, she leaves behind the countless family and friends that served as her spiritual family.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at Twin City Bible Baptist Church, 7252 S. Meridian Street, Marion, IN 46953. A service will follow at 11:00 a.m., also at the church, with Pastor Dale Schuiteman officiating. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday between 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, IN.
