There is no better saying to commemorate the life of Julie Ann Saylors, who passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.
Julie was born August 24, 1970, and the world became a little brighter (and louder). She is often described as beautiful, full of life, and a warm presence in any room. She graduated from Marion High School in 1988, lived most of her life in Marion, and is remembered as a kind friend to many.
She is survived by her parents, Danny (Charmayne) Saylors and Vicki Spencer (David); siblings, Jeff Saylors and Leah Saylors; daughters, Abby Martz and Taylor Ludlow; grandmothers, Ethel Connors and Jan Lankenau, a large extended family, and her fur babies, “Sammy” and “Franky”. Preceding her in death are grandparents, Charles Connors and Willie & Catherine Saylors. She was loved by many and a tough act to follow. Although she left us way too soon, her legacy will live on by those who remember her bright smile and her wild spirit. ??
Visitation will take place at St. James Lutheran Church, 1206 N Miller Ave. Marion, IN on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. with a memorial service, officiated by Pastor Fredrick Hearn, following at 5:00 p.m. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday between 2:00-3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or to Marion-Grant County Humane Society, in honor of Julie.
