MARION, INDIANA – Mason Aziel Guiff, age 25, passed away at his residence on March 16, 2019. Mason was born into this world on November 3, 1993 in Kokomo, Indiana and welcomed into his forever family at the age of 2 in 1996. On March 20, 1997 he officially became Mason Aziel Guiff. He loved Scooby Doo, playing ball, and eating his favorite foods (macaroni, cake and enchiladas with sour cream). Throughout his life, Mason endured many surgical procedures which weakened his stamina. However, he continued living without complaint showing us all how brave he was. Mason was blessed with wonderful caregivers who the family is extremely grateful for. The Lord, deciding his child would suffer no more on this earth, called him home to heaven the morning of March 16, 2019.

Mason is survived by his parents, Tim and Kara (Stanski) Guiff (Marion), and two brothers, Caleb Guiff (Marion) and Jarrett Guiff (Cicero), who loved him deeply and will miss him greatly. Other surviving relatives include his paternal grandparents, Ray and Cela Guiff (Fort Wayne); maternal grandmother, Barbara Stanski (Fort Wayne); and aunts Kristy Stanski (Florida), Tina (Mike) Collins (Fort Wayne), and Korri Stanski (Fort Wayne). Preceding Mason in death and welcoming him into heaven was his maternal grandfather, Loren Stanski.

We all look forward to meeting our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and being reunited with Mason when we are called to our eternal home. We will hug him, run with him, sing with him, eat with him, “and then?”

A Memorial Service will be held at Jalapa Chapel, 5158 Frances Slocum Trail, Marion, Indiana 46952 at 6:00PM on Friday, March 22nd, with Pastor James Schroeder officiating. Family and friends are welcomed to the church for a time of visitation and remembrance from 4:00PM-6:00PM prior to the service.

Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday from 3-6:00pm. However, the family would prefer to honor Mason’s memory with memorial gifts directed to Embrace The Orphan, Inc., 3471 South 400 West, Marion, Indiana 46953.
