BROWNSBURG, IN – Smith, Janice E., age 67, of Brownsburg, IN passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was born on January 21, 1953 in Aberdeen, WA to Joseph and Eunice Smith. Janice was a member of Apostolic Bible Church in Brownsburg, IN and prior to that had been active in various other churches in the area.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Eunice Smith, and husband of over 20 years, Brother Robert Nevers. Janice is survived by her children, Lonnie Brooking of Brownsburg, IN and Rachael Brooking of Indianapolis, IN; siblings, Cindy Tomey of Plainfield, IN, Gina Farnsworth of Brownsburg, IN, Charlotte Jocham of Brownsburg, IN, and Charles Tomey of Indianapolis, IN; 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Apostolic Bible Church, 621 S. Locust Ln., Brownsburg, IN 46112. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Jimmy D. Ogle officiating. Burial will take place at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
