GREENTOWN, IN – Robert Craig Golding “Craig”, age 32, of Greentown, died Monday, August 28, 2023, after lengthy complications due to diabetes. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on December 31, 1990, to Robert Golding and Michelle Conklin. Craig studied at Indiana State and Ivy Tech. He was known to be a very eccentric individual with a dry, some might say “morbid,” sense of humor. Craig loved playing video games, reading, collecting knives and Funko Pops, gardening, cooking, tattoos, and spending time with his dogs and nephews. Those closest to him will remember his love of family and faithfulness to his friends.

He leaves behind his beloved dogs, “Spike” and “Sunflower”; parents, Robert (Sherry) Golding and Michelle (Kevin) Conklin; siblings, Brittany (Jared) Davis, Kaitlin (Kyle) Radtke, Samantha Golding, Caleb Duncan; grandparents, Dorothy Smith, Sidney Conklin, Peggy Duncan, and Cathy Fraley; nephews, Kasen Davis, Ashton Davis, and Remi Davis, and a host of extended family and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents, Archie and Gladys Golding, Dennis Smith, and his dog “Dakota”.

JDRF is a nonprofit organization that funds Type I Diabetes research, provides a broad array of community and activist services to the T1D population and actively advocates for regulation favorable to medical research and approval of new and improved treatment modalities.
