ANDREWS, IN, Linda Sue Baker, 83, of Andrews, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Banquo, IN on March 22, 1939, to the late Fred and Lila Beghtel. Linda worked as a beautician and a business owner in Andrews. She was also a longtime member of Andrews United Methodist Church. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, golfing, fishing, and bowling. Linda was also very involved in 4-H. Family and friends will remember her cooking and how she loved entertaining others by hosting family events.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two husbands, Richard Holmes and John Baker, as well as son, Dennis Holmes.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Gerard) Reust of Lagro, IN; sons, Jim Holmes of Huntington, IN, Curt (Lisa) Holmes of Carmel, IN; eight grandchildren, Brenten, Richard, Lindell, Joshua, Matthew, Tricia, Michelle, and Allyson; three great grandchildren, Ryder, Sawyer, and Ellias; brother, Jim (Linda) Beghtel of Muncie, IN; sisters, Kay Lilie of Huntington, IN, Jean Ann (Ronald) Collins of Leo, IN, Pasty (Jerry) Mahle of Plano, TX, Andris (Robert) Ross of Andrews, IN, and Barbara (Dennis) Fusselman of Warren, IN.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. at Andrews United Methodist Church, 39 McKeever St. Andrews, IN 46702. Funeral service will follow on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., also at the church, with Pastor Patsy Mahle officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
