Betty R. Dunaway, age 78, of Lima, OH passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Kindred Hospital, Lima, OH. Betty was born in Prestonburg, KY to the late Lawrence and Maudie Layne. Besides her parents, Betty is also preceded in death by her husband: Hugh Dunaway; son: Bob Rowe; brothers: Dayton Layne, Lowell Layne, Clyde Layne; sister: Donna McQuown.
Betty is survived by her son: Tex (Boots) Rowe; sister: Barb (Jim) Kalb; brother: Lloyd Layne; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Betty was a member of Redeeming Grace Worship Center.
Friends may call at Redeeming Grace Worship Center, 821 N. Jefferson St. Lima, OH 45801 on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. also at the church with Pastor Preston Knasle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty’s honor may be made to Redeeming Grace Worship Center.
