Billie Gene Combs, 80, of Hamilton, Ohio was born March 21, 1937 in East Bernstadt Kentucky and died Saturday September 2, 2017. He was married in Centerville, Indiana on January 22, 1961 to Roberta J. (Henderson) and they enjoyed 56 years together. Bill served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1959. He was a supervisor for Akers Packaging Service of Middletown, Ohio for over 30 Years.

He had three children, Robert William, Marc Allen and Julie Anne (Jim Burkhardt); four grandchildren, Kathleen, Tyler, Kaley, and Holly; and four great grandchildren, Caleb, Caiden, Tyler, and James. His former daughter in law was Elizabeth Combs. He also leaves behind his faithful and loving cat of 22 years, Junior Combs.

Billie was preceded in death by his parents Bentley and Pearl Combs, his father and mother in law Robert and Mildred Henderson, siblings Jack D. (Carolyn) Combs, Charles E. (Pamela) Combs, a cousin Charles R. (Shirley) Combs, and two infant grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn and Robert Bentley.

Family will receive friends on Friday September 8, 2017 from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am at the Fairfield Church of Christ, 745 Symmes Road Fairfield, Ohio 45014, with Pastor David Hargrave officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Floral arrangements may be delivered to the church on Thursday September 7th from 10am until 5 PM, and also on the day of service from 8:30 am until 10:00 am.

The family would like to give their sincere appreciation to Dr. Kallenberg, Caregiver Keri Allen, Nurse Sue, and Hospice of Cincinnati for the care and support they provided to Billie.
