NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO – Stephen James Yoder, age 44, passed away suddenly from heart complications at his residence on September 11, 2018. He was born on October 7, 1973 in Lynchburg, Virginia to Moses and Cindy (Burris) Yoder. Stephen graduated from Massillon Christian School in 1992. He is survived by his parents and one sister, Heidi (Harley) Snode of Creston, Ohio, and two nephews, Ian and Landon Snode, also of Creston, Ohio. Stephen enjoyed spending time with his family and serving as a volunteer at Cleveland Volunteer Services. He was employed for the past twelve years as a manager at Advance America. Stephen was preceded in death by his grandparents: Moses and Mary (Miller) Yoder; and Robert and Theresa (Haiduk) Burris.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 14, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon. The visitation and funeral will be at Columbia Road Baptist Church, 4116 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, with Pastors Bill Giallourakis and Steve Williams officiating. A private family interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
