DEFIANCE, OH – Holly Christene Keeran, age 60, of Defiance, died unexpectedly on April 4, 2024. She was born on December 28, 1963, in Defiance, OH, to the late R. Frederick and Lois DeTray (Duerk). Holly was a 1982 graduate of Defiance High School and later obtained her associate degree from Ashford University. She loved music, her animals, road trips, and had an amazing singing voice. Friends and family will remember her as a hard-working individual, who always put others before herself.

In addition to her parents, Holly is preceded in death by her brothers, David, Scott “Boz”, and Dennis DeTray.

Holly leaves behind her son, Thomas Keeran; sister, Sue DeTray; brother, R. Frederick (Naomi) DeTray II; cousin, Lisa DeTray of Key West, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of a traditional funeral, the family will be having a benefit on Saturday, April 20th from 12-4PM at the St. John Lutheran Church cafeteria, 655 Wayne Ave., Defiance, OH 43512.
