HICKSVILLE, OHIO – Marjorie (Schlabach) Bontrager passed away peacefully on October 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville. She was born on November 22, 1931 at Mark Center, Ohio to the late Joas and Barbara (Schwartz) Schlabach. On February 22, 1951 she married Leroy Bontrager. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, 5 sons; William (Nina) of Millersburg, Indiana, Melvin (Marie) of Hicksville, Ohio, Marlin (Luella) of Topeka, Indiana, Firman (Pauline) of Ashley, Indiana, and Vernon (Beth) of Leo, Indiana, 3 daughters; Lydia (Melvin Yoder) of Hicksville, Ohio, Christene (John Henry Hochstetler) of Goshen, Indiana and Annie (Reuben Knepp) of Montgomery, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters; Barbara (Simon Weaver) and Irene Bontrager, 1 granddaughter Mary Edna Knepp and 1 grandson Steven Jay Hochstetler.
Visitation will be at the Amos Stoll Residence, 5420 SR 49, Hicksville, Ohio, on Sunday, October 14th at 2:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral will be held October 16th at 9:00 a.m. at the Christian Day School Community Building.
