HEATH, OHIO – Peggy Marie Smith, age 91, of Heath, Ohio passed away at her residence on November 16, 2018. She was born on October 2, 1927 in Newark, Ohio to the late Grover and Winifred (Lattimer) Clark.

Peggy was a member of Christian Life Center in Heath and was the wife of Pastor Charles B. Smith who served as the pastor of the church for over 30 years. She was devoted to her family, her church and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Tom) Friend of Heath; a sister Betty (Wiley-deceased) Wilson of Newark; three grandchildren Thomas (Nichole) Friend, Kimberly (Shane) Zimmerman, Charlie (Kristy) Friend; and five great grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and five sisters.

Viewing and visitation will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Christian Life Center, 665 Linville Road SE, Heath, Ohio 43065. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am at the church with Pastor Thomas Friend, Rev. Charlie Friend, Pastor Michael Ensey, and Bishop T.L. Kirk officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens, 4244 Marion Road NE, Newark, Ohio.

Flowers may be delivered to the church on Monday between 9am-12pm and on Tuesday from 8am to 10am. Memorial contributions may be made in Peggy’s honor to the church.
