UT, SANDY - Cara Renee Mikesell, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2022. She was born on December 22, 1995 in Dayton, OH to David and Margaret "Mag" (Deaton) Mikesell. Cara enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, making friends, snowboarding, and surfing. She will always be remembered for her free spirit, the kindness she showed to others, and her smile.

Cara is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Harvey Mikesell and Robert Deaton.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Cody (Amy) Mikesell, Clayton (Corine) Mikesell, and Craig Mikesell; grandmothers, Betty Mikesell and Florence Deaton, and many friends.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Community Grace Brethren Church, 2261 S. Miami St., West Milton, OH 45383. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., also at the church, with Pastors Brian Stull and Micah Turner officiating.

Flowers may be delivered to the church any time after 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Cara's burial will be privately held at Miller Grove Cemetery, Greenville, OH. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church or to her brother, Clayton Mikesell, in her honor.
