DAYTON, OH – Bean, Olivia, age 74, of Dayton, OH, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. She was born on October 17, 1946 to the late T. H. and Clara Marbury (Hale) in Dayton, OH. In high school, Olivia met the love of her life, Leroy Bean and they married on January 7, 1967 and shortly after began raising their family. Olivia worked as a telephone operator for AT&T for 30 years and was a member of Dominion Ministries International for over 26 years.
In addition to her parents, Olivia is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Leroy Bean (having passed only 3 days prior) and brothers, Lester, Raymond, and Edward Marbury.
Olivia leaves behind her children, Dianna Romine of Huber Heights, OH, Deanna Bean of Dayton, OH, Leroy (Leslie) Bean of Cincinnati, OH, Leanna (Carlton) Williams of Columbus, OH, Lisa (Melvin) Walder of Cincinnati, OH, Jimmy (Sonya) Bean of Mooresville, NC, Jermaine Bean of Cincinnati, OH, and Jamar (Kimiko Shin Mercedes) Bean of Dayton, OH; siblings, Willie T. Marbury of Dayton, OH, Amanda Woods of Dayton, OH, Deborah Foster of Dayton, OH, and Ricky Marbury of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, DaShay Perry, Charles Romine (Jessica Blakes), Leroy D. Bean, Devin Bean, Austin (Jontae) Ford, DeAsia Byrd, DeBria Mays, Carlton Williams III, Bryce Williams, Jayla Bean, Jamar Bean, Jr., Noriko Bean, Jimmy Bean, Jr., Jaylen Bean, Lyndsey Ramsaw, Triston McDonald, and Jamiya Ware, as well as a host of friends.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Dominion Ministries International, 6542 N. Union Rd., Clayton, OH 45315. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Bruce Moxley officiating. Burial will be at West Memory Gardens, Moraine, OH. Flowers may be delivered to the church on December 16th between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Due to COVID-19, face masks will be worn and social distancing will be observed.
