GERMANTOWN, OH – Day, Allen Lee, age 73, of Germantown, passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 17, 2021. He was born on March 19, 1947 in Middletown, OH to the late Charles Russel and Mary Hazel Day (Payton). Allen worked in tooling maintenance for 17.5 years and retired from Deceuninck North America, LLC. Allen was a longtime member of Abundant Life Tabernacle in Germantown, OH, where he also took care of lawn maintenance and drove a bus for 40 years. He will be most remembered for being a faithful man of God who enjoyed helping someone in need.

Allen leaves behind his daughters, Patricia Fowler of Xenia, OH, April Lewis of Centerville, OH, and Kim Tharpe of West Carrollton, OH; siblings, Charles Day of Trenton, OH, Beverly Day of Middletown, OH, Jerry Day of Carlisle, OH, James Day of Carlisle, OH, Darryl Day of Middletown, OH, Dennis Day of Middletown, OH, Bob Day of Middletown, OH, Debbie (John) Metcalf of Franklin, OH, Brenda (Larry) Gibbs of Miamisburg, OH, Jenny (Wayne) Riley of Franklin, OH, Alice (Bobby) Cornett of Farmersville, OH, and Delores Day of Middletown, OH, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Allen is preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Renate, Kathy, and Teresa Day.

Visitation will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 with the funeral service following at 12:00 pm at Abundant Life Tabernacle, 9440 Eby Road, Germantown, OH 45327. Pastor James Setser officiating. Burial will be at Germantown Union Cemetery, Germantown, OH.

Flowers may be delivered to the church on Wednesday from 9:00 – 11:00 am. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the church in Allen’s memory. Due to COVID-19, face masks will be worn and social distancing will be observed.
