Arcanum, OH — Patricia Ann Oler, “Grandma Pat”, as she liked to introduce herself. Went to her paradise on July 31, 2023. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to be with the love of her life, William Oler, with whom she spent 50 years. She went to be with her son, William Patrick Oler, who has been waiting for her for 27 years, and her parents, Grant and Grace Hahn (Smith), as well as her big brother, Bobby Hahn, who died when she was a small child.
Grandma Pat is survived by her sister, Marilynne Joy (Richard) Earles; sister-in-law, Sylvia Menger; daughter, Penny Oler-Perretta; grandchildren, that she adored, Kristin (John) Looper, Peter “Petey” Perretta II, her special boy, Anthony Perretta, Bo (Maria) Lafollette, and Shay (Ryan) Jacob; her greatest treasures, great-grandchildren, McKinsey Willis, William “Liam” Robinson, Henry Lafollette, and Theodore Jacob, as well as numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Grandma Pat was a very special woman, who touched the heart of everyone she met. She would help and minister to anyone who needed it. She loved her Lord and her family more than anything. Grandma Pat has been a very active member of Living Word Church - Vandalia. Pastors Pat and Jackie Murray and family are not only her pastors, but they are family. One of her favorite ways to spend an evening was having everyone together; or playing cards with her best friends, Penny, Joy, and Rick. A visitation for this wonderful lady will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Living Word Church, 926 E. National Road, Vandalia, OH 45377, where a service honoring her life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Pat Murray officiating. Burial will be at Abbottsville Cemetery, Arcanum, OH. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Monday between 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. At the family’s request, instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses or to the church.
