MIAMISBURG, OH – Myrna Jane Byrd, age 84, of Miamisburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. She was born on November 10, 1938, in Dayton, OH, to the late Albertus and Maude Jones (Fout).

Myrna leaves behind her children, Janet Foster, Yvonne Dixon, Burton Dixon, and Charlyne Dixon; grandchildren, Davi, Tony, Brian, Zach, David, Brook, Lee, Chelsea, Elijah, and Autumn, and 15 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 20+ years, Carl Byrd; daughter, Aleece Dixon; granddaughters, Lola, Destiny, Charlyne, Phyllis, and Betty.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at West Carrollton Nazarene Church, 550 S. Elm Street, West Carrollton, OH 45449, where a service will follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Bryan Heil. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses or to the church.
