Chrys Ann Meatyard, 65, of Clayton, Ohio passed away at her residence on Monday October 2, 2017. She was born on November 18, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio. She is survived by her three children, Stephanie Darby of Columbus, Ohio, Michael (Brooke) Terlinde of Austin Texas and Brandie Meatyard of Fairborn, Ohio. She is also survived by one sister, Cathy (Marty) Miller of Alpha, Ohio, two brothers, Mark (Leslie) Shively of Kettering, Ohio and Michael (Pam) Shively of Dayton, Ohio, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Eleanor Shively and her longtime companion of 32 years Donnie Gilliam. Chrys was retired as a Logistical Technician from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 6 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 7 PM, at the Fairborn Free Will Baptist Church, 16 Edna Avenue, Fairborn, Ohio 45324, with Rev. Dr. Stuart M. Snow Officiating. Floral arrangements may be delivered to the church on Thursday October 5, 2017 from 2 PM-5 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any local animal shelter.
