PAULDING, OHIO - Moncie “Tootie” Marie Johnson, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on August 30, 1940, to the late Dewey and Mae (Cheek) Conley. She married Winfred Johnson September 1957.

Moncie was a member of Rose Hill Church of God, Paulding, OH. She was employed as a beautician for many years. She also worked at and retired from Dotco Industries in Hicksville, OH. She enjoyed making floral arrangements, traveling, cooking for others. She made an excellent macaroni salad that everyone loved. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Moncie was preceded in death by her husband and eight siblings; Justine Daniels, Lee Knicely, Flo Brown, Dixie Baldridge, Pauline Shumate, Elmer “Bud” Conley, Harold Conley and James Conley.

She is survived by a son, Mark (Suzanne) Johnson of New Haven, Indiana, daughter, Lisa (Samuel) Kesler of Warner Robins, Georgia and grandchildren, Travis Johnson, Shelby Johnson Waters, Maya Kesler, Layne Kesler, 5 great-grandchildren and sister Evelene Moricle.

A memorial calling will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following at Rose Hill Church of God, 17965 Road 138, Paulding, Ohio, with Pastor Ron Hofacker officiating. Flowers may be delivered to the Church from 10 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
