NEW LEBANON, OH – Joseph “Joe” Burns Evans, born July 6, 1935, was received by his Lord Jesus Christ on October 15, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
Those that preceded him in death include his parents, Erie Ernest Evans and Hazel Alice Evans (Burns); older brothers and sisters; son, Bruce Steven Evans, and wife of 64 years, Sylvia Joan Evans.
He is survived by his children, Mike (Susie) Evans, Marlene “Kay” (Mark) Morgan, Darlene (Norman) Noel, and Jill Elmore; last remaining sister, Judy Sigler; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Eaton Community Church, 813 Camden Rd. Eaton, OH 45320 with Pastor Dan Denlinger officiating. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the church in memory of Joe.
