WEST ELKTON - Michael Eugene Gayhart II, aka “Uncle Mike, Mike, or Mikey”, age 36, born November 23, 1987, of West Elkton, OH passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2023. He is the son of Michael Gayhart I and Kim Gayhart (Rader). Mike was preceded in death by his father, Mike “Homer” and his sister, Mandy “Big Moo”.

Mike was employed at Neyra Paving and Yellow Hammer Industrial. He was an avid music lover, especially rap music. He loved to fish, and he had more than just a few stories to tell! His passion for demolition derbies was what fueled him to reestablish himself back on the right path in life. Number 355 had massive plans for his derby career that just got back on the track. Mike had some interesting food choices, including the occasional mayonnaise sandwich and a love for Chinese buffets.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Nevaeh R. Gayhart; mom, Kim; sisters, Mickie (Roach), Mindy (Adam); brother, Johnny; nephews, Richard, Dillon (Delaney), and Merrick; niece, Breonna (Erik), as well as his best bro, Justin (Megan & Kam), and his right-hand man, Frank.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at I Am The Word Ministries, 12248 OH-503, West Elkton, OH 45070, where a service will follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Jimmy Combs. Burial will be at Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton, OH. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church in honor of Mike.
