Larry E. Brown, 79, of West Alexandria, Ohio passed away on January 12, 2018 at his home after a long illness. He was born on April 29, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Hershel and Hazel (Kelly) Brown.
Larry was an autobody man by profession for over 50 years and a member of the “Sons of American Legion" of West Alexandria. He spent his last years doing what he enjoyed most, mowing grass.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother Marjorie (Hester) Brown, sister Phyllis Myers, and brothers Billy, Jim, Robert, Forest and Hershel Jr.
He is survived by his children Ricky Daniels of Jacksonville, Florida, from a previous marriage, as well as Michele Brown and Larry Brown II, both of West Alexandria, two grandchildren, Sean and Emma Brown of Eaton, friend Dorothy Retherford, also of Eaton, brothers Jerry Brown of Kentucky, Stanley (Fran) Brown of Eaton, Lonnie (Reba) Brown of West Alexandria, and sisters Margie Ann (Danny) Cole of Florida and Brenda (Ed) Jennings of New Lebanon; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will be receiving friends Tuesday January 16, 2018 from 12 to 1pm at Community Christian Church, 11 Dorsey Acres, West Alexandria, Ohio with the funeral service following at 1pm. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
