NORTH CANTON, OH – Carter, Linda Sue, 70, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at her home in North Canton, OH.
Linda was born on August 12, 1950 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of the late William and Shirley (Pickett) Stubblefield. In August 1974 she married Ronny Carter and together they built a loving and caring home for their family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2012 by her beloved husband of 42 years, Ronny Carter and in 2002 by her devoted grandmother, Ruth Ritenhour.
She leaves behind precious memories to be cherished by her loving sister, Susan Reed of Columbia, IL; brother, David Jones of Elma, WA; 3 children, Renee Nickas of North Canton, OH, Troy (Nicole) Carter of Canton, OH, and Bryan O’Neil (Debbie) of East Canton, OH; 6 grandchildren, Ronald W. Carter, Aaron N. Carter, Zoe L. Nickas, Timothy M. Carter, Dana C. Nickas, and Nathan E. Jacobsen; 1 great grandson, Brodie Nickas, as well as devoted friend of 40+ years, who meant so much to her, Donna Tharp.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 2698 Broadway Ave. NE, Louisville, Ohio 44641 with Pastor Mark May officiating.
