COLUMBIA CITY, INDIANA – Jackson Carlyle Wulliman, age 84, of Columbia City, died on September 9, 2026, at Adams Woodcrest, Decatur, Indiana. Jack was born on August 23, 1942, in Berne, Indiana to the late Charles and Lavon Wulliman. Jack was a 1960 graduate of Adams Central High School. On February 14, 1988, in Warsaw Indiana he married Cheryl Christener and the two began a 38-year adventure together. Jack worked as a professional trucker, “Jack of Hearts”, for over 35 years and retired in 2026. In his free time, Jack enjoyed touring with Cheryl on his Harley, along with deer hunting, and NASCAR racing.

He was an active member of First Christian Church of Warsaw, Indiana. Jack’s friends and family will remember him most for living out his Christian faith. Testifying that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and as such the only way to salvation.

Jack is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cheryl Wulliman; a blended family of 6 children, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, as well as his siblings, Tad (Barbara) Wulliman, Amy (Dick) Sprunger of Berne, Indiana, and Kathy (Dan) Echelbarger of Greentown, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Althea (Jack) Shoaf and Jo Ellen (Ted) Biberstine.

The family will be hosting a visitation on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Adams Woodcrest Chapel, 1300 Mercer Avenue, Decatur, Indiana. A memorial service will follow at 10:30 AM, in the chapel, officiated by Pastor Matthew Rogers. Flowers may be delivered to Adams Woodcrest between 8:30-10:30 AM.
