NEW HAVEN, IN - Sarah J. Girardot Crago (McCarty), age 50, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, June 12, 2026. Born on May 19, 1976, in Fort Wayne Indiana, Sarah was the daughter of Dewey and Cathy (Stone) McCarty. Sarah graduated from New Haven High School, Class of 1994.
Sarah is the proud mother of Andrew James “A.J.” Girardot. She loved Jesus, spending time with her family, and attending Christian concerts.

Sarah is survived by her son, Andrew Girardot; mother, Cathy Stone; brother, James McCarty; sisters, Christine McCarty, Nicole Langston, and Michelle Fulk-Vondran; nieces, Lyric and Khloe, and great niece, Athena, among other family and friends.

She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 10:30-11:00 AM at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46806, with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Rick Fletcher. Burial will take place at the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, New Haven, IN. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday between 9:00-11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made to the church, in honor of Sarah. Envelopes will be provided at the church.
