YORKTOWN, IN – Donald Warren, age 88, of Yorktown, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Yorktown Manor. He was born on October 25, 1937 in McMinnville, Tennessee to the late Charles D. and Florence E. (Lane) Warren.

Donald was a loving father, brother, and friend. He would give the shirt off his back to help another, and his generosity extended beyond his family and friends. He planted a garden every year and gave most of his harvest away for free to his community. He had a big heart and loved helping those around him. Donald really enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed watching and feeding the birds. His warmth and spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen White, Houston Texas; sister, Dorothy (John) Parks; brother, David (Judy) Warren; grandchildren, Emily White and Hannah McCormick; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Glad Tidings Church, 3001 S Burlington Dr, Muncie, IN 47302. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Holt officiating. Donald will be laid to rest at Mount Zion Cemetery in McMinnville, Tennessee.

Flowers may be delivered to the church on Thursday from 8:00-10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Animal Rescue Fund in Muncie, Indiana in honor of Donald.
