MARION, IN – Brenda Carol Mace, age 75, of Marion, died peacefully on March 20, 2025. She was born on December 5, 1949, in Coal Mountain, WV, to the late Brack and Grace (Ratliff) Younce. Brenda was a 1967 graduate of Baileysville High School and on July 17, 1968, married her lifelong sweetheart, George F. Mace, in Amboy, IN. She was employed by RCA for over 30 years. Brenda was a creative individual and enjoyed drawing and painting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George Mace.
Brenda leaves behind her children, Ritta Faye Garner of Claypool, IN and Sindy Lou Mace of Indianapolis, IN; siblings, Helen Waterman, Larry Younce, Sandra Younce, and Gary Younce, all of WV, as well as grandchild, Hunter Garner of Claypool, IN.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10:30-11:30 AM at Chapel Pike Wesleyan Church, 2171 W Chapel Pike, Marion, IN 46952. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at the church officiated by Pastor Mark Atkinson. She will then be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday between 8:30-10:30 AM. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church or to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S.
