MARION, INDIANA - Jarred Patrick Farr, age 42, died suddenly on November 21, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1983, in Marion, IN to Patrick Farr Sr. and Beverly (Edwards) Cox. Jarred worked for Cafe Valley Baked Goods for 7 years. He truly enjoyed his job and the people he worked with.
He married his sweetheart, Rachel Everman, on January 24, 2008, in Marion, IN. In his free time, Jarred enjoyed fishing, camping, and sitting around a bonfire with his favorite beverage in hand, while spending time with family and friends. He really enjoyed listening to his favorite '90s rap music, preferably his favorite artists Biggie or Bone Thugs. Jarred loved people and engaging in conversation. He could talk for hours about his all-time favorite football team, The Indianapolis Colts, a good comedy movie, or the next tattoo he wanted to get. Most of all Jarred really cherished being home with his wife and kids. They spent time playing games on his phone when his head wasn’t buried in a Sudoku book.
He leaves behind his wife of 19 years, Rachel Farr; son, Britton Farr; 2 daughters, Emily Farr and Erika (Kaden) Warrick; 3 sisters, Ashley (Devin) Mitchell, Skysea (Jeremy) Sommer and Ameka Cox; mother in-law, Beth Totten; sister in-law, Sarah Everman; brother in-law, Devin Mitchell; 7 nephews, Trevor Raih, D'Andre Mitchell, Malik Harris, Devin “DJ” Mitchell, Gavin Sommer, Alan Morgan, and Kohen Campbell; and 5 nieces, Ahlani Mitchell, Kara Jackson, Ellica Sommer, Kalynn Cox, and Katyiah Cox.
He is preceded in death by his father, Patrick Farr; mother, Beverly Cox; stepdad, Roger Cox; 2 sisters, Rachel Edwards and Amanda Farr; niece, Amaia Mitchell; grandparents, James and Rebecca Farr and Gilbert and Mildred Edwards.
A visitation will be held at Chapel Pike Wesleyan Church, 2171 West Chapel Pike, Marion, IN 46952, on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Colter officiating. Cremation will take place after.
Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday between 9:00 -11:00 a.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church, in honor of Jarred.
