MARION, IN - Carolyn Jane Rogers, 94, of Marion, Indiana, died on July 2, 2026. Carolyn was born on December 26, 1931, in Marion, Indiana to the late Arthur and Velma Hewitt. Carolyn graduated in 1949 from Marion High School and later attended Indiana Business College to learn shorthand. On June 2, 1962, in Marion, Indiana, Carolyn married Richard Rogers, and the two began raising a family together. Carolyn worked for Afena Credit Union for 32 years as a head bank teller and retired in 1998. In Carolyn's free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Carolyn belonged to Jalapa Chapel, and her friends and family will remember her loving the Lord and her giving spirit.

Carolyn is survived by her two sons, George (Denise) Hickman, Fairmount, IN and Greg Hickman, Greenville, OH; stepdaughter, Lee Ann Klele, Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Lindsay Ramey, Joe Hickman, Danielle Klele, Kyle Hickman, and Alex Hickman, as well as great grandchildren, Hunter, Jase, Colton, and Easton Ramey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Dale, and Richard Hewitt, and three sisters, Ruth Ellen Isenbarger, Lillian Hewitt, and Pauline Hewitt.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 -11:00 am with a funeral service following at 11:00 am at Chapel Pike Wesleyan Church, 2171 W. Chapel Pike, Marion, Indiana. Pastor James Schroeder will officiate, and burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Saturday between 8:00 – 10:00 am.
