ROANOKE, IN - Janell Diane Gresham, age 30, of Roanoke, died suddenly on June 15, 2024. She was born on April 22, 1994, in Fort Wayne, IN, to James Andrew and Dianna Russell (Gresham). Janell was a very outgoing person who loved music, dancing, turtles, and just being silly. Her friends and family will remember her as having a big heart. Janell was an organ donor and able to help several people in their time of need. She will forever be a hero to us all.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Andrew Russell; sister, Rosetta Gresham, and grandparents, Etta & Otis Gresham.

Janell is survived by her mother, Dianna Russell; son, Leon James Gresham; aunt, Brenda Hunt, as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family also would like to thank close friends David and Shelley Swain, as well as the Union Church family for their support.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday, June 24, 2024 at Roanoke Brethren Church, 415 S. Main Street, Roanoke, IN 46783, where a service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastors Ken Thompson and James Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
