DANVILLE, IN - Phillip Richard Kellerman, born on December 9, 1930, went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2025, at the age of 94. A devoted follower of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Phillip dedicated his life to serving as a missionary in Taiwan and China, as well as pastoring congregations around the world. His calling began at the age of four and remained steadfast until his final hour on this earth. Though Phillip often minimized his influence, the truth is that hundreds—if not thousands—were led to Christ through his faithful ministry and his message of hope and salvation. His journey of faith with his first wife, Darlene, and later with his beloved wife, Nita, stands as a testament to God’s grace and continues to inspire others to walk in the joy of following Jesus.

Phillip was preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene. He is survived by his wife, Nita; his children, Cindy Kellerman, Tim (Jamie) Kellerman, Brian (Juli) Petree, Steve (Teresa) Petree, and Christopher (Julie) Petree. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Rachel (Nate) Panke, Bekah (Ben) Greutman, Sarah (Clayton) Davis, Seth (Carley) Kellerman, Shay (Kolton) Quitno, Cole (Alyssa) Petree, Joseph (Emily) Petree, Elizabeth Petree, Clara Petree, Audrey Petree, and Andrew Petree. Phillip was further blessed with 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly and will miss him profoundly. He will be remembered with deep gratitude and love by all whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 12:00-2:00PM at Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 10951 E County Road 100 S, Indianapolis, IN 46231. A funeral service will follow at the church at 2:00PM, officiated by his son, Pastor Tim Kellerman. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Wednesday between 10:00AM-12:00PM. Burial with military honors will be on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 11:00AM at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
