Patricia Ann Galloway
1943 - 2025
FORT WAYNE, IN – Patricia Ann Galloway, age 81, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. She was born on December 5, 1943, in Lansing, MI to the late Stanley E. Newcombe and Avenell B. Willis. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Lupica, Kathy Edsall, Richard Vachon, and Gerald Vachon.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Russell E. Galloway, Jr., whom she married on August 21, 1976; her daughter, Dawn (Evans Figueroa) Fox; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Sandra (Michael) Fate, Cherie (Rick) Harb, and Stanley (Altona) Newcombe; her sisters-in-law, Betty (Joe) Plattner and Tina (Bob) Noble; and countless nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Patricia retired from Bomar Electronics after many years of service. She enjoyed crafting and working with her hands, creating many things over the years. She loved watching and was a season ticket holder for the Fort Wayne Komets. To Patricia, family was everything. Nieces, nephews, cousins… it didn’t matter what relation they were; they were family and she loved seeing them, talking to them and spending time with them all.
Visitation will be from 2PM to 4PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at New Life Apostolic Church, 609 Patty Lane, Kendallville, IN 46755. A funeral service will follow at 4PM at the church with pastor Austin Gilliland officiating. Private burial will take place at Concordia Cemetery Gardens in Fort Wayne.
