Linda Louise Dement, age 81, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Linda was born on July7, 1943 in Fulton, Missouri, to the late Roy Lee Holt and Elizabeth Louise (Fourt) Holt. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Dement, and her sister, Judy Lee Bryant.
Linda was married in Madisonville, Kentucky on September 22, 1961, where she lived her adult life and raised her family. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and be with her family. Her three children were her whole life.
She is survived by her two daughters, Stephanie Miller of New York and Julie (Brad) Johnson of Newburgh, Indiana; her son, John (Gina) Dement of Washington, Indiana; three granddaughters, Maddie (Grant) Baldwin, Isabelle Dement, Molly Johnson; two grandsons, Bryce (Carla) Miller and Bryan Miller; her sister Shirley Haynie and brother, Dale (Tammy) Holt.
Funeral services will be private with her son, John Dement officiating. Burial will follow at Providence First Christian Church Cemetery in Providence, Kentucky.
