RICHMOND, IN - Brenda Horner, age 64, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away on June 22nd. She was born on March 13, 1961, in Wayne County to the late Robert Herschel Hildebrand and Thelma Bell Hildebrand.

Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose love for her family was evident in everything she did. She found joy in crafting, cherished every moment with her grandson, and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. Brenda was employed at Oak Park Early Learning Daycare, where she nurtured and cared for countless young lives. She was also a faithful and active member of Crosspoint Baptist Church, where her presence and spirit will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Orville Horner.

She is survived by her loving children, Chad Horner and his wife, Jamie, and Janell Lynn Horner; her cherished grandson, Zachary James Horner; her brothers, Danny Hildebrand and wife Rosemary of Eaton, Ohio, and Bobbydean Hildebrand and Kim Barker of Lynn, Indiana; along with many dear nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate team of doctors and specialists at Reid Hospital, as well as the entire congregation of Crosspoint Church, for their unwavering support and kindness during this time. Brenda’s legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on in all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th, at 11:30 a.m. at Crosspoint Baptist Church 1620 Chester Blvd, Richmond, Indiana, followed by a service at 12:30 p.m., officiated by Reverend Josh Singleton. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Earlham Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed, in Brenda’s memory, to the church. Donor envelopes will be provided at the church.
