MIDDLETOWN, OHIO - Gary Dalford Foster, age 84, of Middletown, passed away on June 14, 2026. Gary was born on November 21, 1941, in Hinton, West Virgina to the late James Foster and Mary Brown. On January 23, 1960, he married his sweetheart, Cora Cox and the two began to raise a family together.

Gary worked for Jefferson Smurfit for 42 years before retiring. In his free time, he enjoyed being with his family and driving. Gary’s family and friends will remember him most for his wonderful personality and his gracious generosity. Gary was a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ and his salvation in Heaven.

Gary is proceeded in death by his wife of 62 years, Cora Foster; siblings, Malcolm, Jack, and Tommy.

Gary is survived by his children, Teresa (Teddy) Kirby, Gary (Jenny) Foster, and Connie Foster; grandchildren, Amy (Derek) Baker, Mindy (Peter) Hudson, Gary Foster III, Matt (Karla) Foster, Tyler (Jordan) Foster, Brianna (Noah) Back; great grandchildren, Audrey, Rylan, Derek, Lauren, Maleigha, Dominic, Royce, Chase, Hunter, Megan, Abby, Bub, Colt, Alyssa, Rylee, Mason, Olivia, Emilee, Kendall, Alaina, Paisley, Ava, and one due in November.

Gary was loved by many friends and acquaintances.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5-7 PM at Quest Church, 6933 Hendrickson Road Middletown, OH 45044. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 19, 2026, also at the church, with 1 hour of visitation prior. Pastor Ken Henderson will be officiating. Burial will take place at 12 PM on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Butler Memorial Park at 4570 Trenton Oxford Road Hamilton, OH 45011. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Thursday, between 3-5 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the church in Gary's honor. Donation envelopes will be provided at the church.
