SPRINGFIELD - Elaine Ruth Miller, age 64, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away at her home on Monday, June 24, 2024. She was born on June 12, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late William Heidorn and Ethel J. (Race) Willis. In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Heidorn.

Elaine is survived by her children, Rachel Ryan, Isaiah Miller, Kurtis Miller, Hannah (Randall) Mollett, all of Springfield, and Samantha Holub of Dayton, Ohio; her several grandchildren; her siblings, Deanna Shelor, Doug (Peggy) Heidorn, Jerry (Cheryl) Heidorn, and Jill (James) Lambert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elaine had a passion for art, photography and music. When she was younger, she was a singer in a band called Ash. She loved flowers and all things purple. She looked forward to Christmas and enjoyed all the planning, decorating, and gathering together with everyone she loved.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Trinity Missionary Church, 3525 E National Rd, Springfield, OH 45505. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul Hundley officiating. There will be a reception immediately following the memorial service until 3:00 PM.
