In loving memory of

David Printz

1932 - 2026

ARCANUM, OH - David Boyer Printz, age 93, of Arcanum, OH, went to be with his Savior on January 18, 2026, after a long, full life well lived. He was born on May 28, 1932, to the late William and Mary (Boyer) Printz. David was married to the love of his life, Mary Beth (Younce) Printz, for an extraordinary 74 years. All because two people fell in love, a remarkable family legacy was built. Together, they raised four amazing sons: Dale (Suzan), Lonnie (Tina), Rodney (Janet), and Kyle (Tammy).

David made a life doing what he loved — farming the land he cared for, working as a skilled bus mechanic, and driving a bus for thirty years. Whether he was in the fields, under the hood of a classic car, or keeping buses running smoothly, he tackled every task with pride and passion. To us, he could fix anything. There was nothing David loved more than God, his family, farming, and old cars. He was stubborn in the best way and didn’t have much of a filter — always speaking his mind with honest, heartfelt humor. He was also a fierce protector of everyone who belonged to him and always showed up for his family.

In addition to his sons, David leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Beth Printz; three of his eight siblings: Ron Printz, Sandy (Rock) Warrick, and Joyce (Mark) Miller, as well as his favorite sister-in-law, Nancy Rosenbeck. He was also a beloved papaw to 13 grandchildren and their spouses — and once you married into the family, he would lovingly say, “You are ours now.” He was a proud great-papaw to 28 great-grandchildren and a cherished great-great-papaw to 5 great-great-grandchildren.

He loved his community and was truly salt of the earth — a man of integrity, hard work, and genuine care for others. David met every challenge in life including his health challenges with grit, and a determination that defined him. As a husband, dad, papaw, great-papaw, and great-great-papaw, David leaves behind a legacy of love, a foundation of family that is generational. Well done, good and faithful servant.
