EATON, OH – Charles E. Fillman, Jr., age 70, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Austin Trace Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on November 17, 1953, in Paulding, Ohio to the late Charles E. Sr. and Ramona J. (Holtsberry) Fillman.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles “Chas” E. Guyer; his sister, Wanda (Mike) VanScoder; his aunt, Ruth Underwood; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Charles was a people person and liked by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He enjoyed playing cards and loved dogs.

Charles’ family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bethel Church, 20000 County Road 424, Defiance, Ohio 43512. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM at the church with Pastor Tim Hacker officiating.
