CECIL, OH – Earl L. Baldwin, age 88, of Cecil, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 2, 1936, in Paulding, OH, to the late Thomas and Marie (Stultz) Baldwin. Earl was a 1954 graduate of Paulding High School and served in the National Guard reserves. On November 1, 1958, he married his lifelong sweetheart, Donna Weber and began raising a family. Earl worked as a self-employed Beekeeper for 60 years. His family and friends will remember him for his love of bees and his dog, “Buddy”.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Kenneth, and his great-granddaughter, Paige.

Earl leaves behind his wife of almost 66 years, Donna Baldwin; children, Cathy (Tom) Myers of Cecil, OH, Rick (Lori) Baldwin of Deltona, FL, and Richard (Christine) Baldwin of Cecil, OH; brother, Darris Baldwin of Forest, FL; grandchildren, Ricky (Ann) Baldwin of Deltona, FL, Amanda (Michael) Treece of Briceton, OH, Cassie Baldwin of Deltona, FL, Christopher Baldwin of Chicago, IL, Wesley (Ella) Baldwin of Jackson, MI, Ashley Myers of Cecil, OH, Sarah (Matt) Volbert of Lima, OH, Stephanie Baldwin of Cecil, OH, Isaac (Abigail) Baldwin of Cecil, OH, and Caitlyn Myers of Defiance, OH; 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Defiance Church of the Nazarene, 1656 Jefferson Ave, Defiance, OH 43512, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Terra Gorrell and Rev. Don Leonard officiating. Cremation to follow the service. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Saturday between 9:00-11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, in honor of Earl.
