DEFIANCE, OHIO – Raymond “Ray” Lee Frederick, age 77, died at his residence on July 11, 2026, at 5:22 PM, surrounded by his loving family. He was born at Defiance Hospital on February 21, 1949, to the late Henry Ford Frederick and Rosemary (McCabe) Frederick. Ray graduated from Oakwood School and Technical Electrical School where he earned his Electrical degree. On July 1, 2005, he married the love of his life, Teresa Frederick.

Ray worked for Koester Corporation in Napoleon, Ohio, for 41 years. After his dedicated service, he retired for a while before returning to work. Ray enjoyed tinkering with stuff in the barn and walking his crops looking for golf balls. He was also a member of Faith Baptist Church in Defiance, Ohio.

Ray will be missed by his beautiful wife of 19 years, Teresa Frederick; high school friends, Roland Bradford, Ruthann and Bob Ford; his nephew, Phil (Amber) Frederick; sister, Sandra Daniels; neighbors, Diane and Garth; and a host of family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Dorris Frederick; brothers, Phil Frederick Sr., and Danny Frederick; and his high school friend, Kathy.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, 14102 OH-111, Defiance OH 43512. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM at the church with Pastor Mick Sobieck officiating. A meal will be provided by the church after the service.
