In loving memory of

Hunter Alan Underwood

1995 - 2026

SPRINGFIELD, OHIO - Hunter Alan Underwood, age 31, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2026, following a lifelong journey with autism. He was born on August 16, 1995 in Columbus, Ohio. Hunter was a special soul who touched the lives of everyone blessed enough to know him. He had the most giving and loving heart, always wanting to help anyone in need. His kindness, compassion, and willingness to lend a helping hand were just a few of the many things that made Hunter so special. He had a deep love for God and never missed an opportunity to talk about his faith. He loved singing worship songs, gaming, and of course, making people laugh by sharing his favorite cat memes. Hunter had a wonderful sense of humor and a way of bringing smiles to the faces of those around him.

One of Hunter's greatest joys was his family. He dearly loved his nieces and nephews and shared a special bond with them. Hunter had a childlike spirit and a wonderful ability to find joy in the simple things in life. He could meet them right where they were, sharing in their laughter, silliness, and excitement. In many ways, he shared their world, and those moments together created memories that his family will treasure forever. Although Hunter's journey on earth was not always easy, his life was filled with love, faith, laughter, and people who cherished him. His generous heart, gentle spirit, and desire to help others will live on in the memories of his family and everyone who knew him.

Hunter is survived by his loving adoptive parents, Robert and Lesli Underwood. He will forever be loved and remembered by his siblings: Thomas (Luna), Spencer, Jared (Steven), McKenzie, Brandon, Kayla (Jacob), William (Taylor), and Seth (Danielle), as well as his beloved Aunt Beth (Josh). He was preceded in death by his mother, Nicole Suverison (Joe).

While our hearts are broken by his absence, we find comfort knowing Hunter is now at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord he loved so dearly.
