BEAVERCREEK, OH – Misty Lee Brunner, age 68, of Beavercreek, died suddenly on May 27, 2024. She was born on October 12, 1955, on Wheelus Airforce Base, Libya, North Africa, to the late Jack Dorsey and Nancy Rosser (Butts). Misty was a 1973 graduate of Beavercreek High School and later received an appointment from the Coast Guard Academy before they allowed women in the military. In 1974, she married her lifelong sweetheart, Robert Brunner, and began raising a family. Misty was artistically talented and attended the Dayton Art Institute for some time. She was also very good at math which led her to become an engineer assistant for designing the A10. In her free time, Misty enjoyed sewing, music, and spending time with her family.

Misty is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Brunner; sons, Sean (Andrea) Brunner, David Brunner, and Mark Brunner; sister, Cindy (Keith) Gaw; brother, Mike Rosser, and granddaughter, Brianna.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Rosser and sister, Melody Rosser.
