XENIA, OHIO- John Edwin Dailey, age 78, of Xenia, OH, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026. John was born on September 28, 1947, in Springfield, OH, to the late Grover and Elnora (Beireis) Dailey. He spent years dedicated to dairy farming but later worked and retired from Hidy Honda. In retirement, he enjoyed collecting toy tractors and vintage wall art. He also enjoyed spending time with various family and friends and attending church.

John is survived by his siblings, Roger (Cheryll) Dailey of Enon, OH, Linda (Kenny) Kipp of Xenia, OH, Jeff (Doris) Dailey of Jamestown, OH; his children, John (Angela) Dailey, Deanna (Scott) Allison, and Joe (Donnell) Dailey; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Roger “Termite” Dailey of Lexington, KY.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Missionary Church, 491 W Hyde Rd, Yellow Springs, OH 45387. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the church with Pastor Bryan Graham officiating. Burial will take place at Clifton-Union Cemetery, Clifton, OH.

Flowers may be delivered to the church on Friday between 8:30 - 10:30 AM. Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Missionary Church, in honor of John.
