FINDLAY, OHIO - Cheryl Ann White, age 78, died on September 20, 2026. She was born on May 30, 1948, in Denver, Colorado to the late Frank and Coral “Marie” Dorner. Cheryl attended Liberty Benton in Findlay before graduating from Bellflower High School in Los Angeles in 1966. After high school, she earned her associate degree in accounting from Stautzenberger College, Findlay.

Cheryl married the late William Uphold in 1966. The two were married for 30 years and had two children, Ann and James. On July 3, 1997, Cheryl was blessed with love again and married
Lawrence “Mike” Michael White, in Findlay.

Cheryl worked in Accounting and Human Resources for many years at various factories. She retired as a bookkeeper for St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Findlay. In her free time, Cheryl enjoyed painting, cross stitching, serving the Lord through church visitation, and discipling Christian ladies in their faith. She also taught children in church. When she became critically ill before she died, she expressed excitement about seeing Jesus soon. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, Mike; her son, James Uphold (fiancé, Martha); her daughter, Ann (Tony) Hart; brother, Ron (Colleen); 5 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Cheryl is preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Bryan Kidd and Francesca Uphold.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 3 – 4 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 County Road, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A memorial service will follow immediately after with Pastor Ben Jennings officiating.
