VANDALIA, OH – Thomas W. Replogle, age 85, of Vandalia, died Friday, September 12, 2025, at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1940, in Goshen IN, to the late George and Violet (Scott) Replogle. Tom was a 1958 graduate of Astoria IL High School and later took OSU courses earning a teaching certificate in automotive mechanics. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On December 27, 1969, he married Alice C. Billenstein, and they were married for 55 years. He enjoyed working on vehicles, golfing, umpiring, and playing and coaching basketball, softball, and baseball.

Tom is survived by his wife, Alice; four children, Chadwick (Michelle), Matthew (Maria), Bartholomew (Angela), and Zachary; nine grandchildren, Craig, Aliya (Hunter), Jack (Courtney), Devon, Tris, Ben, Dillon, Kayli, and Blair; two bonus great grandchildren, Parker and Noe, and one sister, Retha Corbin.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Elgin and two sisters, Eleanor Parker and Nancy Schlafman.

A memorial service to honor Tom’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 122 W. National Rd, Vandalia, OH 45377, with Pastor Benjamin Prill officiating. Following the service, everyone is invited to join the family in the fellowship hall for a time of food and fellowship.
