WEST ALEXANDRIA – Darrell T. Wells, age 81, of West Alexandria, Ohio, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 12, 2024, at his home. He was born on November 27, 1942, in Morgan County, Kentucky, to the late Noah and Ida (Lawson) Wells. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his brother, James E. Wells.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 60 years, Monica (Koestler) Wells, whom he married on March 11, 1964; daughter, Deena (Rich) Clark, of West Alexandria; life-long friends, Jack and Madalyn Bartley, and countless other extended family and friends.

Darrell and his family have always had an immense passion for nature, camping, and horses. He was a farrier for 56 years and raised and trained racehorses. He, along with his family and friends, enjoyed camping and trail riding. Darrell retired from DAP Products after 34 years of service.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Community Christian Church, 11 Dorsey Akers Dr, West Alexandria, Ohio 45381. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark May officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
