EATON, OH – Katherine “Kathi” Jackson McKee, age 83, of Eaton, OH, died peacefully on February 23, 2026, at Vancrest Health Care Center. She was born on August 13, 1942, the third child of the late Wilbur C. and Nina (Swearingen) Jackson of Jacksonville, FL. Kathi graduated a National Honor Society and DCT member from Julia Landon High School in Jacksonville, FL in 1960. Kathi worked for Prudential Insurance Company after graduation and married Richard A. McKee of Eaton, OH on July 23, 1960. They were blessed with three children and three grandchildren during their 66 years together. She retired as office manager of Kee Printing in 2002. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Camden, OH.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael David McKee; brother, Timothy Edward Jackson, and sisters, Nina Diane Dunwoody and Melba Jean Jackson. Kathi is survived by her husband, Richard McKee; children, Richard Allen (Merrilyn) McKee Jr. of Eaton, OH and Carol Ann (Mike) Fewell of Eaton, OH, and grandsons, Christopher Allen McKee, Andrew Michael McKee, and Brett Jackson Fewell, all of Eaton, OH, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 11AM at First Southern Baptist Church, 35 N. Liberty Street, Camden, OH 45311. A funeral service will follow at 12PM officiated by Pastor Greg Jackson. Burial will take place at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Flowers may be delivered to the church on Monday between 9-11AM. Memorial donations may be made to the church, in honor of Kathi. Envelopes will be provided at the church.
