WEST ALEXADRIA, OHIO - George “Tom” Thomas Carico, age 89, of West Alexandria, Ohio, died on September 20, 2026. Tom was born on April 11, 1937, in West Alexandria to the late George and Cora (Winkelman) Carico. Tom attended West Alexandria schools. He worked for many years in sawmills building pallets and retired from Tolson Pallet. Tom enjoyed anything involving farming. He had a love for Guernsey cattle and loved to write stories. He was a member of Community Christian Church.

Tom is survived by his sisters, Ruth Ann Carico and Janet (Carico) Fritts; nieces, Beverly (Hamm) Messer, Tracy (Fritts) Sexton, Lori Fritts; nephews, Troy Carico, Randy Fritts, Chad Carico, and John Raybourne, as well as many cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Joyce (Carico) Parker, Judy (Carico) Raybourne; brother, Stanley "Butch" Carico, and nephew, Tim Hamm.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Community Christian Church, 11 Dorsey Akers Drive, West Alexandria, Ohio 45381. A funeral service will follow immediately after with Pastor Mark May officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, Ohio.
